01The whole policy in one paragraph

You can match and talk without giving us anything — no email, no phone number, no name. If you create an account or buy something, we hold what that requires and nothing more. Calls are not recorded or stored. We do not sell personal information. Details below.

02Using the site without an account

Starting a chat match requires only camera permission in your browser. In that mode the information we handle is technical and automatic: device and browser type, approximate region from your IP address, and logs of when the service was used. It is what almost every website receives by existing.

03If you sign in

Signing in is optional. If you use a sign-in service such as Google, we receive what that service passes us — typically a name, email address and profile picture. If you build out a profile or publish content, that content is held for as long as the account exists.

Anything you publish publicly can be seen by anyone and may be indexed by search engines. Deleting it removes it from the platform, not from copies others may have made.

04If you buy something

Payments are handled by payment providers. We receive confirmation of the transaction and what it was for; we do not store full card numbers.

05Calls: not recorded, not kept

A CooChatMatch call ends when either side leaves, and the conversation is not retained. There is no history to scroll back through because none is written.

One honest limit: we cannot control the person on the other side of the call. Screen recording happens on their device with tools that have nothing to do with this site. Treat every call accordingly and keep identifying details out of frame.

06Cookies and local storage

The site stores small amounts of data in your browser to keep it working (session state, preferences) and to understand usage in aggregate. The full list and how to clear it: cookie policy.

07Who else ever sees it

• Service providers that run infrastructure, analytics or payments for us — bound to use it only for that work.
• Authorities, when the law requires it or when safety demands it (child-safety cases in particular).
• A successor operator, if the service changes hands — under this policy or one at least as protective.

We do not sell personal information. There is no advertising marketplace behind this site trading on who you are.

08How long things are kept

Technical logs are kept for as long as operating and securing the service requires. Account data lives while the account does, then is deleted or anonymised, subject to legal obligations such as tax records for purchases. Call content is not kept at all — see above.

09Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because anonymous use gives us almost nothing to look up, some requests will genuinely come back empty — that is the design working.

10Adults only

CooChatMatch is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from minors, and accounts found to belong to minors are removed. How to report a minor on the service: child safety.

11When this policy changes

We update this page when practices change, and the effective date below the title moves with it. Material changes will be flagged on the site rather than slipped in quietly.
