Child Safety Standards

01The standard

CooChatMatch is for adults only, and child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) in any form is prohibited absolutely: content, behaviour, solicitation, or attempts to bring a minor into the service. There is no context in which any of it is tolerated.

02What we do about it

• Round-the-clock moderation with the report control on screen during every call.
• Immediate, permanent removal of accounts involved — no warnings for this category.
• Preservation and referral of case material to the relevant authorities and child-protection bodies where the law provides for it.

We also state the honest limit: an anonymous service cannot verify age at the door with certainty. That is exactly why reporting is on screen for the whole of every call, and why this category of report goes to the front of the moderation queue.

03Reporting a minor, or CSAE

During a call: use the on-screen report control — it attaches the context we need. Outside a call:

Email [email protected] with when it happened and what you saw. These reports are prioritised ahead of everything else.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first — before us, not instead of us.

04If you are under age

This service is not for you, and that is not a formality — it exists because random video chat with strangers is an adult space. Close the tab. It will still be here when you are old enough.

05For parents and guardians

The site requires no account, so there is no parental control to switch on here — device-level controls are the effective tool. Every major phone and desktop platform can block individual sites; blocking this domain blocks the service. If you found a minor using it, report it to us as above so we can act on our side too.
