Copyright & Takedown
If someone published your work on CooChatMatch, this page is the route to getting it removed — and the requirements that make a notice actionable.
Effective
01What this covers
Published content on CooChatMatch — profiles and uploaded media. Live calls are not recorded by the service, so there is nothing stored from a call for us to take down; conduct inside calls is handled by the community guidelines instead.
02Sending a takedown notice
Email [email protected] with the subject "Copyright". A complete notice contains:
- What the protected work is, and proof you own it or act for the owner.
- Where the infringing content is on this site — a link or a description precise enough to find it.
- A statement that the use is not authorised by the owner, an agent, or the law.
- Your name, contact details, and a signature (typed is fine).
Incomplete notices are returned for the missing parts rather than actioned blind.
03What happens next
Valid notices lead to removal or disabling of the content, and the account that posted it is notified. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.
04If your content was removed and you disagree
Reply with why the removal was wrong — you own the work, you are licensed, or the use is otherwise lawful. We review and either restore the content or explain why not. Knowingly false claims in either direction can carry legal consequences, and we would rather both sides know that up front.
